Go with the following Setup steps:

  • The first step is to unplug your modem from the wall jack. Remove the battery, if the modem uses a battery backup.
  • Then plugin and turn on your modem, and put the battery back in.
  • Now, connect the modem to the router Internet port using Ethernet cable which is come with the router.
  • After this, connect the power adapter to your router and then an outlet.
  • If the LEDs light doesn’t blink, check that the power adapter is accurately connected to the router and power outlet.

Thus, the Orbi RBR750 setup procedure is complete. Now, sync the Orbi satellite to the router.

  • Place your satellite, and connect the satellite to a power outlet.
  • Now, the satellite LEDs light is glows white color.
  • The satellite automatically finds the Wi-Fi signal of the Orbi router and try to sync to the Orbi router.
  • After the satellite’s LEDs light one of the following colors:
    Blue: It states that the Orbi router and satellite successfully synced, and the connection between them is good.
    Amber: It means the connection with the RBR750 router is fair. We suggest that you should move the Orbi Satellite and the Orbi router closer and try again.
  • If the LEDs light magenta, then do the following:
    1. Unplug the Orbi satellite, place it closer to the router.
    2. And plug the satellite back in, and wait a couple of minutes for the LED’s light to turn blue or amber.
  • If it still does not turn blue or amber, do the following:
  1. Press the Sync button, which should be on the back of the router.
  2. Within 2-3 minutes, also press the Sync button of the satellite.
  3. Wait for a minute for the LED to turn blue or amber.
